Snooker markets use the event format and a defined scoring or settlement question. A match winner is decided by frames, while breaks and individual frame scores are measured in points. A handicap in frames is not a handicap in points. An illustrative 6–4 match result contains ten frames; it does not indicate either player’s highest break.
A market is a precisely defined question
A market title specifies what will be measured. Match winner asks for an outcome; a total asks whether a measured quantity finishes above or below a line; a player market concerns a named participant. The same fixture can contain many questions with different winning conditions.
For Snooker, read whether the selection covers the whole event or one named frame. The quantity is measured in frames where that is the stated unit; the overall winner and a segment total remain separate questions.
The selection receipt preserves the accepted market name, line and price. These details matter if the interface changes while the event is underway. Descriptions such as popular or featured do not alter settlement. Two selections can share a team name but still concern unrelated measurements, so identify the complete proposition rather than the name alone.
Decimal Odds and Return Calculations
Decimal odds include the original stake in the total return. In a hypothetical example, a 100-unit stake at 2.40 returns 240 units if the selection wins: 140 profit plus the original 100. A losing selection returns nothing under ordinary win-or-lose settlement. These figures illustrate arithmetic, not a forecast.
